A nice follow-up to Horizon: Zero Dawn but it lost some of the original atmosphere for me. Environmental and mech designs are still incredible though, and the story was decent enough!

While it expanded on the first game with better visuals and deeper mechanics, the story didn’t grab me as much. The combat remains a highlight, but the pacing and bloated side content held it back. Still, it’s a solid continuation for fans of Aloy’s journey.

It’s a stunning sequel that expands on everything I loved in Zero Dawn. The world feels alive, the story’s more ambitious, and Aloy’s arsenal is even cooler. That said, the pacing in some quests dragged a bit, and the narrative occasionally lost focus. But the sheer beauty of the open world and the thrill of taking down machines kept me hooked.

Beautiful game, always kept me on my toes. The side quest and even errands are fully developed and memorizing.

Overall, Horizon Forbidden West has some great gameplay and interesting characters to interact with. I found myself enjoying Forbidden West a lot more than the original title, though there were still moments in this action RPG where I found the story to be lacking, especially the ending, though many moments like this were made up for through being able to explore the open-world.

Great game hands down, well put together. It well exceeds it previous installment. For anyone to down play this game is clearly not moving forward with the gaming world. When game stinks, it stinks. But this game is an add on & more, showing how far it’s come even in gameplay as well.
