Chapter 6 Season 4 of Fortnite is finally here, meaning players get a treasure trove of fresh content. From the Power Rangers to a brand-new Halo Spartan skin, Fortnite fans have a lot to unpack with this update. Alongside a new Battle Pass and updated map also comes fresh weapons, with some great Exotics included.
One of the biggest changes introduced in Fortnite is the inclusion of O.X.R. Ranks. Basically, O.X.R. Ranks measure a player's skill level within each match, and rising in the ranks can unlock Exotic weapons. Exotics are known for their power, but one in particular reigns supreme, and that's the Eradicator O.X.R. Rifle.
In order to raise one's O.X.R. Rank, players will need to eliminate Bugs, take out other players, and search the chests placed across the map. Every player begins the match with a C rank, with the successive ranks being B, A, S, and S+.

What Makes the Eradicator O.X.R. Rifle So Special?
The reason the Eradicator O.X.R. Rifle is bound to feel overpowered to some players is because, once players get a successful hit, each successive hit deals extra damage, which can build up incredibly quickly. For players who consider themselves true sharpshooters, getting their hands on the Eradicator O.X.R. could easily make them a killing machine. Chapter 6 Season 4 introduces a variety of exciting things, but the Eradicator O.X.R. is bound to be a thrilling addition for players who are particularly skilled at aiming.
In just a matter of seconds, a player can be wiped out if the Eradicator O.X.R. is being used by someone who can really bring out its full potential. It's possible that the weapon could even become controversial, but that remains to be seen. Whether one is eliminating a player or taking out a Bug invasion, the Eradicator O.X.R. is a powerhouse of a rifle.

Chapter 6 Season 4 Shakes Up the Fortnite Formula
A major change with this season is an emphasis on a Bug invasion that is incredibly reminiscent of Helldivers 2. Of course, the Bug infestation could simply be a case of parallel thinking, but it definitely looks like Epic Games at least had a little bit of inspiration from the popular third-person shooter.
Regardless, the arrival of this new threat and a throwback crossover with the Power Rangers is bringing forth an action-packed new season that hopefully continues to excite players. For eight years, Fortnite has continued to evolve and keep things fresh, making it fascinating to see how each new season and chapter changes the landscape of the battle royale title's map and gameplay.

Fortnite's newest season is still incredibly fresh, as it's only been live for a few hours, so it will be interesting to see how players respond to the power of the Eradicator O.X.R. Rifle. Only time will tell, but in the meantime, players who boast good aim and have been craving a fresh rifle packed with power, will definitely want to give the Eradicator O.X.R. a try before it potentially gets nerfed.
