Keep One, Watch One More Time, Erase One: The Office, Brooklyn 99, Community

I thought this would be an obvious pick for me at first, but it was a gruelling decision. I think if I really had to, I'd keep Brooklyn 99, watch The Office one more time, and erase Community. I would definitely regret it and miss The Office dearly, but I don't think I'd ever tire of B99

Who do you want John Cena to wrestle on his retirement run?

It's hard to say how long his title run will go for, but I think there's a good chance he goes on a long unbeaten run that, if it ends at all, will end in his final match - maybe to Cody? A lot of veterans prefer to lose their retirement match, as it's seen as a passing of the guard, so it'll be interesting to see if they actually follow through with Cena's intentions on being the last WWE champ or not. I would be surprised if they did, but it's intriguing and unprecedented, so I wouldn't hate it. Cena facing Orton at Backlash is a great start to his run, but there are a few others I'd like to see, like Gunther, Drew McIntyre, AJ Styles, maybe LA Knight. I think guys like Logan Paul are likely, but that doesn't interest me at all.

Wrestlemania 41 Thread - share your thoughts on the event!

Another Wrestlemania has come and gone, and, while 41 had a lot to live up to after an incredible event last year, it did have its highlights. How did you rate the event? What were the high and low points for you?

Roman Reigns has accomplished a LOT...except for one thing 😭

WRESTLEMANIA 41 SPOILERS BELOW Our Tribal Chief has literally beaten everyone in his path and paved a legendary career, but after WM it is clear that my guy cannot for the life of him do one thing...hit Seth Rollins with a chair. The one time he actually did it, it cost him everything 😅 What'd you think of the Roman v Punk v Rollins main event? I KNEW Paul was going to do something sinister, what a great finish.

Do you like how stalkers were introduced in Season 2 of The Last of Us?

Stalkers have always been pretty terrifying in the Last of Us games, but the show seems to be presenting them as a genuine threat to Jackson and all those who dwell within its walls. I like this somewhat altered depiction of them, and I'm curious to see if it will open more doors regarding infected evolution in future episodes.

Daredevil Born Again is finally starting to feel like two shows that were edited together.

I've enjoyed the show and even like this week's episode, but the latest episode felt to me like it could have been the second. We opened with this Bullseye story, forgot about it for seven episodes, then brought it back for the big climax. I don't feel like it was woven in and I have to think this all comes down to the show being shot twice and then put together.

What wrestling moves do you think would be effective in a fight?

I sometimes chuckle to myself when I see a wrestler laid out like they've been brutally knocked out by a move that really shouldn't have knocked them out. I mean, look at some of the all-time greats and their moves. People's Elbow? C'mon, ain't no one going down for that. But hey, it's entertaining and that's what we're watching it for (Don't get me wrong, I'm not playing down the physicality of wrestling. I have absolutely no doubts that a LOT of the stuff they do hurts like hell). Nonetheless, it makes me wonder if there are any you could realistically pull out in a real confrontation and do some legitimate damage. I daresay anything that involves being slammed on your back wouldn't tickle, so stuff like Powerbombs and Chokeslams would be painful. I remember hearing Kurt Angle say in an interview that he absolutely hated being given The Last Ride by The Undertaker and, frankly, I don't blame him. Oh, and Sweet Chin Music/Superkick. And keep JBL and his Clothesline from Hell away fr

More Movie Sequels Should Just Be Canon Video Games

A few franchises have already attempted this, like The Thing, John Woo's Stranglehold, Ghostbusters, and Alien: Isolation. More movie franchises that are struggling to get their next installment off the ground should commit to doing it as a game. It would be cool to see a game come out as a sequel to a movie within a few years of the film's release, instead of solely using them to bring back old characters like they did with Ghostbusters or the new Indiana Jones.

Marvel, It's Time for More Non-MCU Projects

Marvel Rivals and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man are two of my favorite Marvel projects in years and a massive part of their excitement is that they aren't burdened by the MCU. It's time for more shows, games, and even films that can utilize Marvel's roster without worrying about what characters haven't been established yet or having to fit in such a tightly laid out canon. Daredevil: Born Again is obviously great as well, but I would argue that even with it being in the MCU, it's disconnected enough to fit into this category a bit as well.

I'm Scared Amazon Won't Be Able to Pull Off a Good Adaptation of Fourth Wing

An adaptation of Fourth Wing has a lot of potential. The plot is awesome, there are many unexpected twists, and the storylines we get to follow are all very exciting. Two things scare me in particular regarding this adaptation: the CGI and how dark it'll be. The dragons are one of the most important elements in Fourth Wing, and it would be incredible if we got special effects that made them look just as good as the dragons in Game of Thrones for example. However, if the CGI falls short, it might just ruin it completely. While there are definitely cheesy moments in the books, which ease the tension from time to time, I hope this turns into a mostly serious adaptation, like The Hunger Games. The Empyrean series has incredibly emotional and dark moments, and I think that is where the focus should be.

Cena Beats Cody at Wrestlemania 41

This is the only outcome I see happening tbh! I think for Cody's title run to end, it needs to be something as big or bigger than him finishing the story last year. Cena winning the title gets him the record, he goes on a heel run against some of his old rivals like Orton and CM Punk, then maybe drops it again later in the year before finishing as a face again. That's my prediction! I could end up with egg on my face in a month, but to do something as significant as end Cena's 20+ year babyface run, it has to earn him his most significant title win. And this, my friends, is not a prediction...it's a spoiler!

Daredevil: Born Again is the Best Marvel Show in Years

I've been a MCU fan since the beginning of time (it feels like), and I've yet to miss any of the television series that have been plaguing Disney+ over the years. Now, the quality has gotten better over time, but man, Born Again has been such good television that it's making me think even less of the prior not-so-great series (I'm talking about you, Secret Invasion).

The Warcraft Series Should Get Another Chance at Being Adapted into a Movie or TV Series

The Warcraft movie had potential, but they rushed the story too much. I think if they gave Warcraft or World of Warcraft the same treatment as the Fallout live-action show on Amazon, it would result in a much better viewing experience. Aside from being faithful to the source material, Fallout was good because it took its time to tell a story and I believe the same could be done for Warcraft.

Who Should Play Xaden in the Fourth Wing Adaption?

I recently started reading the Empyrean series, and I'm already obsessed! I'm nearly done with the first book, and when I heard there would be a TV show, it immediately got me wondering who would be the perfect actors for my favorite characters. In my opinion, Xaden is the most interesting character in Fourth Wing, so I'm particularly curious to know who fans are picturing when they think of him. I've looked up several fancast threads but still haven't found an actor that looks how I picture him. I'd like to hear more opinions! Who would be the right fit for Xaden?

Is John Lithgow a Good Choice for Dumbledore in the Upcoming Harry Potter Series?

There have been some criticisms about Lithgow's appointment of the iconic role, but honestly, I think he's a great pick. I can certainly understand there are some grievances with Lithgow not being British, but I think his iconic voice isn't too outlandishly different from Michael Gambon's. Seeing interviews with Lithgow about the role on Screen Rant, it is clear that he's taking this role incredibly seriously and sees it shaping the final chapter of his illustrious acting career. I love it, can't wait to see him with the long beard and hat!

After Elimination Chamber, What Matches Would You Make For Wrestlemania 41?

Coming off the heels of what I thought was one of the best PLEs I've ever seen since I started watching wrestling as a kid, there are a few obvious matchups to make. Based on what we saw at Elimination Chamber, I think these matches will be on for Wrestlemania 41: John Cena vs Cody Rhodes Randy Orton vs Kevin Owens Jade Cargill vs Naomi Drew McIntyre vs Damien Priest Seth Rollins vs CM Punk A few things that intrigue me are how the Cena storyline plays out, the Cargill situation, and Roman Reigns. For Cena, you've got to think The Rock will be pulling all stops to give Cody as many disadvantages as he had last year so that Cena wins it. For Jade, I think we're yet to hear the whole story, so we could very well see Bianca as involved as Naomi. Either way, there's another twist in the tale, I'm sure. As for Roman, it certainly looks that the Punk x Rollins rivalry will come to a head at WM41, but what role does Reigns play? He's obviously got a huge problem with Seth, and he owes P

Did You Watch Anora?

Anora won best picture at the Oscars last night, but did you watch it? I saw it in theaters and absolutely loved it. Mikey Madison's performance stole the show, and honestly, the entire cast is phenomenal. I think it definitely deserved the award.

What Do You Rate WWE Elimination Chamber Out Of 10?

10/10 for me. Honestly, Elimination Chamber may be one of the best PLEs I've seen out of WWE in a long time, and that's not to say they've had many bad ones of late. But the numbers of twists, and the timing of them, was absolutely spot on. I wondered if Jade Cargill would play a part in the women's match (I, and I know many others, were suspecting Naomi), but never in a million years did I anticipate she was going to come out at the VERY START of the match and absolutely annihilate Naomi. The whole segment was absolute cinema - Jade played her part brilliantly, Naomi sold the attack perfectly, and even the reactions of the other combatants really helped to sell the story. One of the best and easily the most brutal segments I've seen in women's wrestling. Spot on. Tiff/Trish against Nia/Candice was perhaps the weakest part of the event, but that's not to say it wasn't good. But, given the two big returns and the massive moment in the finale, it was always going to be hard to compete

How Could You See A Hunger Games Video Game Working?

Obviously, the big issue with the idea of a Hunger Games video game is the whole idea of violence between children and encouragement to kill kids. However, there is a lot that could be done with a battle arena/simulation-style game of this nature. I could see it going one of two ways. The first is a solo or multi-player battle arena in which players must manage their resources such as health, thirst, medicines, etc whilst trying to best utilize their stats to survive in a randomly generated arena. Perhaps players can craft their own Tributes in a character builder similar to Baldur's Gate 3, and choose their District / build their stat blocks - or even randomly roll stats for a challenge. As a second concept,  I could also see more of a linear story that follows a player character's experience in the games, perhaps with different outcomes and an interactive arena that can change based on your choices. You could make decisions during the pre-game/training in trying to build sponsors and
