With pets having been added to Roblox's Grow a Garden, your farmland has gotten a whole new glow-up. Yet, there is a variety of plants you can place there to make it even more beautiful. With every update, the roster keeps growing, and players now have tons of crop options to choose from.
All of them, however, aren't profitable, since some are just temporary plants that vanish after picking, and others regrow but are quite cheap. Thankfully, there are viable options as well, so here's a full tier list explaining all the available crops and which ones are worth investing your Sheckles in.
Updated by Somiya Adrees on August 10, 2025: Grow a Garden now has 143 crops after the 1.18.0 update, including fruits, veggies, flowers, candy, and bone plants. As such, the tier list featured below has been updated to rank all the new ones among the old favorites, allowing players to uncover which ones truly are the best of the best.
Grow a Garden's Best Crops Tier List
The rankings mostly go by how much money a plant makes from its base price. The list also covers every crop added so far, even the ones you can’t get anymore. Since lots of players still have them growing, this list can help you figure out if they're worth keeping or tossing.
If you're unsure how to use the tier list, here's a quick breakdown:
- S-tier crops bring in the most profit.
- A-tier crops are still solid but don’t earn as much as S-tier.
- B-tier offers a decent Sheckle average.
- C-tier doesn’t pay much, but it’s a reasonable option for beginners without better crops.
- D-tier crops aren’t worth planting at all unless you like how they look or need them for an event.
The “Estimated Profit Per Harvest” column shows the ideal amount of money you can get from each harvest. For crops that aren’t multi-harvest, their full profit is listed directly.

The profit you get from each plant can also depend on the size and weight of its fruits. Some crops may be better than others if they consistently grow heavier-than-average fruits. For example, Moon Mango has a lower base profit than Maple Apple but often grows big fruits, meaning it can end up earning more than its listed value.
Best Plants for Stacking Mutations in Grow a Garden
While the list above ranks crops by overall value, some GaG plants may have lower total profitability, but higher base value per fruit, making them ideal for stacking mutations. By combining mutations from weather effects, pets, and tools, you can turn their worth into the trillions. Special fruits like Bone Blossom and Honeysuckle can also become massive using the Sprinkler method, which further increases their selling price.

Best Seeds in Grow a Garden
Here’s a quick look at the must-have plants in Grow a Garden:
- After the 1.13.0 update, we’ve finally got a seed that’s changed the meta. Bone Blossom is now the best seed in Grow a Garden, but it’s limited to giving 4 to 6 blossoms, while Candy Blossom can give up to 12. So, the ranking also depends on the player's luck.
- No doubt, Candy Blossom is one of the best plants in Grow a Garden. Its selling value is ridiculous, especially when stacked with mutations. It can literally go for billions.
- Instead of Beanstalk, Sugar Apple has taken the top spot among seed shop plants, with each unit selling for 48k Sheckles (yields eight at a time). It's the best non-event plant out there and gives premium crops some serious competition.
- Spiked Mango and Maple Apple are now part of the current meta thanks to their high profits. While it’s a bit lower in tier, Moon Mango still holds up as one of the best plants. You usually get a big tree that can produce up to 17 fruits in one go. Otherwise, replanting it with the Reclaimer is always a sweet option. It also tends to give big fruits, which can add up significantly, especially if you're using the Sprinkler Method.
